It takes Deep Thought 7½ million years to compute and check The Answer, which turns out to be 42. Unfortunately, The Ultimate Question itself had long been forgotten.

The Answer is stamped onto 5/8 inch discs of copper, which are gently domed. The Answer is oxidized, and the sterling silver ear wires are oxidized to match.

Little Pistachio glass flowers, perched on handmade-by-me sterling silver ear wires. These earrings are formed with one piece of wire, and include rubber ear clutches.
